The City Council’s challenge

Antes de la llegada de Ana, el Ayuntamiento de Valladolid enfrentaba el desafío de modernizar la experiencia digital para los ciudadanos. Aunque la información estaba disponible, se encontraba dispersa en distintas plataformas, lo que complicaba el acceso a ciertos trámites y servicios. Además, los tiempos de respuesta eran lentos, lo que generaba frustración en muchos usuarios al no poder resolver sus dudas con la rapidez deseada.

La solución tenía que garantizar que los ciudadanos pudieran acceder fácilmente a la información sobre trámites municipales, instalaciones y servicios públicos sin tener que navegar por múltiples fuentes o realizar largas búsquedas. El reto no solo era técnico, sino también cultural: llevar una herramienta avanzada de IA Generativa a un sector tradicionalmente menos digitalizado, como es la administración pública.

The solution: Ana, a Generative AI virtual assistant for Valladolid City Council.

To solve this challenge, Luce IT, in collaboration with Google Cloud, implemented Ana, a virtual assistant based on Generative AI. Its design was focused on attending in an agile and efficient way the most common queries of citizens, covering topics such as:

  • Administrative procedures (registration, registration, licenses, etc.).
  • Municipal facilities and activities
  • Subsidies and local services

Ana not only provides quick answers, but also offers an intelligent search, displaying documents and links relevant to the queries made. Its ability to handle large volumes of information and filter results accurately allows citizens to get what they are looking for almost instantly, without compromising the security or confidentiality of the information.

In addition, the synergy between Luce IT and Google Cloud was key to fully leverage the capabilities of Generative AI, ensuring a smooth and efficient implementation. Luce Intelligent Assistant served as the basis for integrating AI with the City Council’s systems, achieving a significant digital transformation.
